THE ULTIMATE
scouting to the max

Duke, Kansas, Kentucky are all known for having huge places in the draft class. They always have 3-4 players who go pro and most go in the first round. Through different means Texas is know in the rank, well at least this year. I believe that Texas could have 4 players in the draft and I already discussed one being Bamba a top 5 recruit who is a run, jump, and dunk center who plays defense but you could also put there point guard, Roach in that column. He probably go second round but I have faith that he could go from 20-30. He is a Junior this year, so he a little older but the kid can dunk like a monster and honestly if he could get down a jumper he would be deadly. There are some concerns about his game one being that he is very inconsistent and a poor free thrown and three point shooter. He 6 foot 4 and is a monster on defense. He also is a good leader and has a great striking about also he not a horrible play maker. The biggest issue with him is he is turnover problem who can not really push the ball up if they bring a double team but he can see open lanes which is always a plus side.
SKI Dylan Osetkows a low post threat, who has shown a ability to shoot the three ball even though he is currently shooting a very low percentage. He can also be a good post defender with his size. He is also a Junior, but he weighs 285lbs and is 6-9. He is a OK re-bounder garbing 8 boards a game. He is a little on the court who plays in a team system. He can bang in the post with the best too. He was the biggest problem for duke and that is impressive considering there front court.

This week was based on Mikal Bridges and himonou or as I will called his the kentucky point guard. This to players are really good and have completely differnt play styles. They both are very athlitic players but they both have there own special abilties.
Mikal bridges is a small foward/shooting guard and he ia a good shooter but remindes alot of josh smith with his abilty to get in the post and make smaller defenders pay but also has a better jump shot. the kentucky point guard is super athlitic but can not make a jump shot is a good playmaker but a issue is people on his team can not shot so his lain is not in a good space This week I focus on the order in which I think players are going to go which is more diffcult then you might think because there no telling what NBA team going to have what pick for example if the Suns get the fist pick they most likely will choose Marvin Bagley but if like the Cavs get the fist pick they will probably take MPJ to replace Lebron if he leaves in free agents. The order can be tricky but what ive done is base my data on who I think is the best overall player.
The best player is not just who puts up the best stats the best player is a combination of age abilties and athlitism. Just because a player puts up good stats does not mean he a good player. There a thing called per and what that is a way of looking at a player based on how well he helps up his team there a lot more that goes into that but that just a basic way to example it. Also player persentages also goes into it. I want to start off by saying that the ball boy is a great basketball player and still has the ability to go pro but after further looking into him I don´t think he will get draft because of his mess up in china. 3 UCLA players were arrested in china for shoplifting which will cause his already low draft stock to fall even further down he shown the ability to score but no ability to play-make. Is a decide defender but not a top one so I do not think he will go were I had him going.
Gary Trent JR is a scorer and reminds me a lot of Eric Gordan in his ability to shot lights out and has the athletic ability to get his shot off at a high level. He has show that he can match guys like Allen his team captain in score ability but he can be very inconstant which could end up being a problem for the freshman plus he is not going to have the ball in his hands what so ever with other dynamic scorer like Allen or Duval or Bagley will take on the majority of the offense for this team. This week the preseason for college basketball jas started so I want to hit on a couple key players who have reakky impressed me the firat being Marvin bagely iii he has show a better jump shot then i orignal thought he had which is a great sign. He can hit wide open threes which for a center/power foward is really great l. Hes rebounded is off the charts I thought he could start off slow with that but he has blew up the stats.
Kevin Knoxs actually has been playing how I expected hes a fast guard but his jumper going to need alot of work, it is not there what so ever which always him to be a the player you double team off of which is not good. His teammate Nate Richards has already shown a good pick and roll IQ so much that I took a look into him this week and hes defense game because he has the albilty to be a shot blocker. |
